Church
Inclusion Criteria
Derby Church Net works closely with Churches Together in Derbyshire
to ensure the services provided cover as many different Christian
groups in the area as possible. However, it is recognised that there
must be some guidance as to what is considered 'Christian' for these
purposes.
The following criteria have been agreed specifically for the purposes
of the directory, but the same guidelines
are used throughout the work of Derby Church Net. These are aimed
at including what is generally recognised as Christian, and following
the teachings of the Bible. To this end, the following criteria
for inclusion apply:
A church, group or its parent denomination must believe in
One God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and either:
- Be a full member of Churches Together in England (CTE);
or
- Be a member of the Evangelical Alliance (EA); or
- Be a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical
Churches (FIEC); or
- In the case of inter-church groups (i.e. groups formed
for working together ecumenically), all the churches they represent
must themselves be eligible for inclusion; or
- In the case of independent churches/groups, or those
whose setup makes membership of CTE, EA or FIEC difficult, they
must have references from three leaders (each from different
denominations), whose organisations are themselves eligible
for inclusion.
Groups unable to meet these criteria are unlikely to be included.
Any queries with this should be directed to Churches Together
in Derbyshire.
Groups are considered on a case by case basis. Please note we are
unable to discuss the status of specific organisations other than
with the leaders of that organisation or their parent body.

Printing
Services
Derby Church Net Printing Services are subject to the following
terms and conditions:
- Artwork: For best results, artwork should be supplied
in electronic form. Please check for suitable formats. Anything
supplied in this way should be checked for viruses beforehand.
- Formats: Derby Church Net can provide a wide range of
printed media, subject to equipment limitations, which may vary
from time to time. Please ask for the current range.
- Instruction: It is the responsibility of the client to
provide clear instructions as to the work required. If items are
printed in error as a result of unclear guidance, or incorrect
artwork, the client may be required to pay for these items.
- Proofing: Derby Church Net is not responsible for proof
reading items to print. It is recommended for large runs especially
that a sample copy is viewed before the main run commences. Where
layout is particularly important, it is recommended to use a format
which is not potentially affected by pagination differences on
different software and hardware configurations.
- Copyright: It is the responsibility of the client to
ensure that permission has been sought and given for the use of
any design supplied for printing.
- Quotes: Every print run is quoted on an individual basis.
Written quotes are valid for a maximum of 28 days; verbal/phone
quotes are given for guidance only and are not binding. Cost vary,
so no guarantee of an identical price for a repeat is given. Derby
Church Net reserves the right to alter the quoted price before
commencing printing, if upon receipt of the artwork it becomes
clear that extra work is required; in such instances the client
will be informed before commencement of printing.
- Invoices and Payment: The normal method of payment is
by cheque, payable to "Derby Church Net". Invoices should
be paid promptly upon completion of the work.
- Availability: The printing equipment is used for a number
of regular large runs, and printing/other work of Derby Church
Net itself sometimes has to take priority. Please allow as much
time as possible for printing, giving notice in advance if possible.
Whilst often requests can be delivered in a shorter time span,
no guarantees under a week are normally given (may be longer at
busy/holiday times). Advance and regular bookings take priority
over ad-hoc requests.
- Specialist Paper: Specialist papers (e.g. coloured and
certain thicker papers) are ordered on request so are usually
only available for larger print runs, and may take longer to process.
Smaller requests on specialist stock may be available on surplus
stock if available. It may be possible to print on stock provided
by the client, subject to suitability.
- Delivery: Sorry, there is not normally a delivery service
available. Items should be collected from the office. Please check
opening times before collection.
- General: By requesting the use of Derby Church Net Printing
Services, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. These
may be varied at any time without notice: please check current
details before placing orders.
